An ideal substitute for Wheaten or Oaten Chaff. It is low cost and economical to feed. High roughage diet helps remove sand from the intestinal tract. Reduces the risk of colic when fed continuously at the recommended rates. Increases the appetite of finicky eaters. Cool, moist, palatable ration (no dust problem). Use as a roughage component at minimum cost formulation for high performance diets. Use in conjunction with a grain mix or concentrate when higher levels of nutrition are required due to increased activity, growth, breeding, lactation or cold weather. Use as a total ration for mature horse (maintenance or in light work) ideal for recreational horses.
